More Canadians than ever before are relying on life and health insurers to protect themselves from life’s uncertainties.



I was proud to join Express Scripts Canada in March of this year, and, truth be told, I feel like I was always part of this team.


Lions Foundation of Canada is a national charity whose mission is to assist Canadians with a medical or physical disability by providing Dog Guides – at no cost.

Lions Foundation of Canada trains Dog Guides to assist Canadians with a wide range of disabilities. With seven programs in place, Canadians who become qualified applicants are offered the opportunity to find greater independence, mobility and safety through the help of a Dog Guide.


For generations, the idea of national pharmacare in Canada has been treated a bit like an old photo album, hauled out for special occasions, but otherwise tucked away and forgotten. Universal drug coverage for all Canadians was considered with the birth of medicare in 1964 and was revisited in the 90s and 2000s. Another report joined these studies this past week.


Last Friday (March 1, 2019) was Employee Appreciation Day in the U.S. and Canada. This day carves out time to take a moment and thank all the hard-working men and women who, frankly, make everything possible, in business, in government, in the non-profit sector, in the health sector. Everywhere.
