Committed to supporting Aboriginal communities
March 1, 2019 (Mississauga, ON) – Express Scripts Canada (ESC) has proudly unveiled a new Aboriginal branding emblem.
Working with an Aboriginal design firm, ESC created an emblem that embodies their corporate values and has significant meaning to Aboriginal people.
The design is Medicine Wheel themed made up of ESC’s corporate brand colours. Similar to ESC’s core values of diversity and inclusion, the core teachings of the Medicine Wheel are balance, inclusion and our four sacred medicines—sage, sweet grass, cedar and tobacco—which keep our spirit healthy.
The Medicine Wheel also represents:
Balancing all aspects of our life
The four races and that not one is better than the other; we are all equal
The four stages of life – infant, youth, adult and elder. And walking through those stages in a balanced and good way
The burning of the medicines cleanses our energy, creating a peaceful environment and empowers us to be better
“I am very proud of this new emblem and Express Script Canada’s ongoing commitment to the Aboriginal community,” said Michele Baptiste, Manager, Aboriginal Relations – Human Resources & Corporate Services.
ESC will promote their new emblem on Twitter and LinkedIn and use the emblem on all Aboriginal communications going forward.
